Wedding Photography
Duff House is a very popular venue for weddings photographs especially for local families and wedding photography may take place anywhere in the grounds. Inside the House, photographs may take place in the Vestibule on the first floor and at the foot of the Great Staircase. These areas are reserved exclusively for your wedding photography and once payment has been received, these areas will not be available to any other wedding parties on that date.
Costs
The 2011 fee for booking wedding photography at Duff House either in the Grounds or inside is £118.
Photography may take place in the Vestibule or at the foot of the Great Staircase and using natural light only. Due to the historic collections on display, flash photography is only permitted on dull days.
Conditions of Hire
A maximum of 20 members of the bridal party will be given access into the House but an unlimited number of guests may access the grounds for photography taking place outside. Two bridal cars will be given access to the front of the House. For the safety of visitors, and in compliance with Fire and Health and Safety Regulations there is no parking permitted in front or behind the House. We would be grateful if you would please ask your guests to use the visitors’ car park alongside. There is a designated parking area at the side of the House for any guests who require disabled access to the House.
Please note that no items of furniture or exhibits may be moved. We would also ask that you let your guests know that no confetti may be used either in the House or grounds.
