Founded in 1998, the Friends of Duff House promote the work of the Duff House staff, encouraging members to enjoy the House, its treasures and its history.

The Friends support:
     * A programme of social, cultural and historical lectures and exhibitions
     * Special projects and promotions to sponsor Duff House, its staff and

        its cultural programme
     *  The future of Duff House by practical assistance, encouragement and 

         constructive suggestions
     *  By assisting the House in practical ways, and undertaking tasks such as

         cataloguing

The Friends enjoy free entry to Duff House (excluding entry to some special events) and to other National Galleries of Scotland venues, prior notice of events and invitations to all Friends of Duff House social and cultural activities, in congenial company and unique, historical surroundings.

Clan Macduff Society are Friends of Duff House and have gifted items to the House which are on display.
